Jake

Managing Partner

A fifth-generation Sussex Countian from Georgetown, DE, Jake earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Theater from Franklin and Marshall College. After starting his career with a national homebuilder in 2005, he became a partner at Capstone Homes, helping to build nearly 1,000 homes in Sussex County. Active in charities, Jake serves on the board of Contractors for a Cause and previously on The Bethany Fenwick Chamber board. He lives in Fenwick Island with his wife Sara and daughters Elsie and Lainie.

Joe

Partner

A native of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Joe now resides in Lewes. After graduating with honors from the University of Delaware, he founded RE/MAX Realty Group in 1991, growing it to over 70 agents and $400 million in sales. In 2003, he sold the business to focus on real estate development, creating numerous residential communities and over one million square feet of commercial space. Joe has served on the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber board and is a director at County Bank.

Alex

Director of Marketing

With over 10 years at Capstone Homes, Alex was born and raised in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree from Wilmington University. Alex lives in Harbeson with her husband and three children.

Jim

Vice President of Production

A native of Sussex County, DE, Jim joined Capstone Homes in 2010, bringing extensive experience in custom and production homebuilding. A 1999 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and 2003 graduate of East Carolina University, Jim has played a pivotal role in Capstone’s success. As Vice President of Production, he oversees operations across various communities, ensuring quality and efficiency. Jim’s leadership and expertise are key drivers of Capstone Homes’ continued growth and excellence in the industry.

Mark

General Manager

Born and raised in Sussex County, DE, Mark is a devoted family man who enjoys coaching youth sports year-round. He joined Capstone Homes in May 2016, excelling as a Sales Representative and contributing to the company’s growth. Promoted to General Manager in 2021, Mark oversees building permits, HOA approvals, vendor partnerships, and construction estimates. His leadership was crucial in developing our new design center. The Capstone family wouldn’t be complete without Mark.

Sarah

Director of Sales

Sarah joined Capstone Homes after an 11-year career teaching high school Spanish. A University of Delaware graduate with a Master’s in Technology from Wilmington University, she lives in downtown Milton with her two children and dog, River. They enjoy beach outings and hiking. As a 6th-generation Sussex County native, Sarah has a deep connection to the area and loves helping clients find and design their dream homes.

Jessica

Office Manager

Jessica joined Capstone Homes in 2020, bringing years of experience in the Hospitality and Real Estate industries to her role as Office Manager. Raised in Lansdale, PA, she enjoyed playing baseball, music, and art. Jessica graduated from Kutztown University in 2013 with a B.S. in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing. After moving to Delaware with her boyfriend, now husband, Jordan, they fell in love with the area, eventually building their “forever home” with Capstone Homes in 2022.
